Amanda is an Accredited Specialist, she has dedicated her practice in Family Law for over 20 years. Amanda provides advice to couples who are married or are in a de facto or same sex relationship. As a panel member, she also represent children as an Independent Children’s Lawyer in litigated parenting matters to ensure the best interests of a child are prioritised.
Amanda is also a collaborative lawyer, a Nationally Accredited Mediator and a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General’s Department. She prides herself in working with parties who wish to resolve their Family law matter to avoid the stress, time and cost associated with litigation.
Amanda has extensive experience and knowledge in conducting complex Family Law property matters involving corporate and trust structures, drafting Consent Orders and Binding financial Agreements and in conducting both interim and final hearings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Amanda's wealth of experience also extends to parenting matters involving contested living arrangements for children, allegations of family violence and abuse, the need for supervised visits, relocation cases, enforcement of Court Orders and proceedings under the Hague Convention on International Child abduction.
She also assist parties who wish to have a private child support agreement or review a child support assessment that is already in place.
