Marsdens Senior Partner Jim Marsden OAM, recently hosted a dinner at Campbelltown Arts Centre, which is currently showcasing the talented Karla Dickens, Embracing Shadows Art Exhibition. Jim met the Lismore based Wiradjuri artist Karla. He has always been impressed by her work. Definitely worth checking out!
Jim also met Blak Douglas, a Sydney based artist with Dhungatti heritage, who won the Archibald Prize 2022 for his portrait of artist Karla Dickens, titled Moby Dickens. The Hon. Ben Franklin, MLC, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for the Arts & Minister for Regional Youth was also in attendance, all were very impressed with the Embracing Shadows Art Exhibition.
