Each year, the Western Sydney University Law School hosts an event to recognise and celebrate the achievements of its top-performing law students.

It is both a privilege and a pleasure to acknowledge students like Leyla and Ben, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, integrity and passion in their studies—particularly in the important area of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

As Leyla shared:
"To be recognised and thus awarded for my efforts in my education is one of my greatest privileges. I work tirelessly towards my goals which often seem far-fetched at times, although milestones such as receiving these awards serves as motivation to keep on pushing through the times that are significantly harder than chapters. Being recognised for these awards is also a testament to my younger sister and the community that it can be done – regardless of the hurdles that we face."
